If you do not run your own workshop, but would like to book your assets in to the calendar so you can make sure they are serviced on time, you can create a recurring event in the calendar. You will be able to record the outcome and upload a scanned copy of the service sheet in to the document library via the calendar.
Go to the calendar, click in the date that you would like the event to begin > name the event > select the asset > select the workshop > select the event recurrence frequency e.g. 6, 8, 12 weeks. You can then select how many events to schedule. If you 6 weeks for 48 occurrences from the dropdown then calendar will schedule the event for the next 24 years (6 x 48 divided by 12).
Once the event has been completed then click the event, then select the appropriate event status from the drop down.
Upload document. You will have the opportunity to crate a job card to record costs or simply upload a scanned copy of the service.
Copies all services, MOT's, Road Tax, Wheel Torques etc. can be viewed in the document library, service history and by editing your vehicle
