  • Job card: A job card can be create from here

Upload A Paper Copy of a PMI

Paper copies of PMI’s from a 3rd party garage can be loaded in to the desktop. You can add records of the vehicle, applicable workshop and inspector, along with the mileage record. Defects, items to monitor, brake test results and tyre information can be transferred into the system so that they can monitored electronically.

Create A Electronic New PMI Check

To create a PMI, VC60, PCV60 etc. select the date and time of the inspection along with the vehicle reg/ asset ID, workshop, Inspector, inspection template and the odometer reading then start inspection. Items on the checklist can be marked as;

  • Tick icon:         Satisfactory
  • X icon:             Requires attention
  • Warning icon: Monitor
  • Circle icon:      Not Applicable

Choose the Vehicle / Asset, Workshop, Fitter and PMI template from the dropdowns.

If there are any items previously recorded as Monitor on a previous PMI, they will be listed on the current PMI and there is an option to add them to the job card on this inspection if needed.

Any Outstanding Defects recorded by drivers during their daily walkaround checks will also be listed, again with the option to add them to any job card created.

If a defect is found it can be added to the PMI by clicking on the icon.

Type into the Repair item box to record the defect, further notes can be recorded in the Action box.

Photographs of the defect can be recorded by clicking the camera icon.

Tyre Tread Depth, PSI and Brake Ware remaining can be recorded.

NIL Defect PMI's can be signed off by the fitter then counter signed by a Supervisor or Manager.

If there are items to be repaired then a Job Card can be created.

Any items recorded as defective will be automatically added to the Job Card. Previously monitored, recorded driver defects or new defects can also be added to the job card.

Safety related defects can be repaired from the here and the document can be signed with the inspector’s electronic

signature, instructions on how to add a signature to documents can be found in the article; How do I change my password?.
