What is displayed in the dashboard?

Modified on Mon, 17 Jun at 4:19 PM

The Vehocheck “Dashboard” is the screen you will see upon logging in to the desktop manager. This is the screen that you will be most likely to view throughout the working day. To search for a more detailed breakdown of individual of the sections listed below, search Calendar, Walkaround Checks etc.

Statbox View

Depending on what configurations you decide to enable, this screen will display statbox views that give you an overview of vehicle walkaround checks performed, outstanding defects, total repair costs, defect repair cost per km etc. You can enable up to 5 views that are most important to you and your fleet. The information that relates to the boxes can be viewed by clicking on the box, you will then be taken to the relevant data.

To enable statbox view go to; Company Details > Set Company Preferences > Statbox Views

Calendar

Calendar events that are due will also be displayed, with imminent/overdue events being highlighted by a pulse on the event. Details can be viewed by clicking on the event or going directly to the calendar. The time frame for events displaying

here is set at 2 weeks. This can be changed in Company Settings > Set Company Preferences. Adjust the  dashboard events bar timespan in weeks.

Circle Graphs

Driver Check Graph; This will show how many drivers have/haven’t performed checks today. By clicking on the different section on the graphs for example; no check recorded, a list of all drivers that haven’t performed a check today will be listed.

Assets Checked Today: This graph will show you which vehicles, trailers, plant etc. have been checked, not checked or VOR.

The split/merge icon will allow you to filter each category.

VOR: Vehicles can be marked as off road from the asset circle graph. Click on the graph, select the relevant registration and choose the reason why the asset is being VOR. Vehicles can be returned to fleet from here.

These graphs are a config and can be enabled/disabled in Company Details > Set Company Preferences.

Latest Walkaround Checks

The latest ten walkaround checks are displayed in the desktop. This view can be changed to hide nil-defect reports only, via the button below the walkaround checks. Here you will see the vehicle registration number, type of check performed, check date and time, the time it took the driver to perform the check, employee, report ID and the outcome of the check. By clicking on an individual vehicle reg you will be taken to all checks for that vehicle. To view all walkaround checks across the fleet click view all button.

Latest Defects

The last ten defects recorded are listed here. As well as the vehicle reg, details of the defect, check date, time and the reporter of the defect there is a grading system. All defects recorded via the app will automatically be classed as cautionary. It is then up to the desktop user e.g. workshop manager, transport manger or fitter to grade the severity of the defect. These can be graded as  Under Inspection, Repaired, In Progress, Advisory or Serious. If an defect is marked as Serious you will be asked if you would like to VOR the asset. if so, any drivers who select this asset registration will will get a message to check with management before taking the asset out.

Repairs can only be made via the workshop section.

Click view all to see all reported defects. Repaired and advisory (minor defects like bodywork, that are not a safety issue) can be hidden by switching the hide repaired & advisory button below the checks.

Outcome

A number of different outcomes can be recorded on a drivers walkaround check.

  • Tick: The driver has identified no defects while conducting the check.
  • Warning Triangle: A detect has been identified.
  • Note Pad:  The driver has added written notes to the report
  • Image Icon: There are photographs included in the report.
  • Paper Icon: A paper copy of a walkaround check has been uploaded to the desktop.
  • Flag: The driver has marked an item as not applicable. This is a soft delete, for example security of load, but a load is not on board when doing the walkaround check. the item will be back in the checklist when the driver next performs a check.
